Make Your Own Preset Mod with Python Script

Is there anything better than tutorial of Padme4000?

Yes. Thanks to the author of tutorial. I found all parameters including inner eye color, outer eye color and skin color.

And it's automatic.

Any restriction?

This script only supports Human Female and Elf Female for now.

- Human Male support added.

What you need before starting:

DAS.exe: DAI CLI Save Editor by ricco19

DAI Mod Maker

Frosty Editor

Tutorial on how to make your Inquisitors into Character Creation Presets by Padme4000

Steps:

1. xml_file01.xml: Export custom face profile from your saved data by Das Editor.

2. pretcg_ef01c.ebx: Export preset file in .ebx by using DAI Mod Maker. I found DAI Mod Maker export more consistent .ebx files

than Frosty Editor. All offset addresses are according to it.

3. Execute Face_parsing

3. 1. Put pretcg_ef01c.ebx, xml.file01.xml and face_parsing_EF.py in the same folder.

3. 2. Edit line 5~8 of face_parsing.py if you have other file name options for adept python user.

3. 3. Run "python face_parsing_EF.py" in cmd,

3. 4. or run face_parsing_EF.py in an IDE, like vscode or any app you like.

3. 5. The script will check whether xml file is from EF and ebx file is from "pretcg_ef01c.ebx" regardless of file name.

3. 5. For Human Female, please use "precg_hf01a_fix.ebx"; for Human Male, please use "precg_hm01fix.ebx";

3. 6. Face_parsing will generate "custom_swap.bin" and "custom_swap.ebx" two output files.

To make FBMOD:

Import "custom_swap.bin" into PretCG_EF01c.ebx in Frosty Editor

Save as a new project and Export to Mod.

To make DAIMOD:

Open pretcg_ef01c.ebx and import "custom_swap.ebx" into it in DAI Mod Maker

Save as a new mod.
