Brown-Friendly Eye Texture Tweaks

Someone asked if I'd be willing to share my eye texture edit, so here it is in its updated, brown-friendly version.

I liked the idea behind Khylian's Shadowed Eyes mod but didn't want to change the iris texture itself, so I whipped this up for myself. It's a pretty simple edit, I've just added some shading on the upper part of the iris and made it so that brown eyes wouldn't look so frustratingly washed out.

Note that it will also affect NPCs to some extent, but it's for the best since some characters' eyes don't reflect their actual colours at all. The change is especially noticeable on Cassandra and Vivienne, whose eyes are supposed to be brown but look greyish in the vanilla game (note that Vivienne's eyes will still look a bit washed out under some lighting conditions, though (e.g. when you talk to her at her party)).

Requirements

• []Frosty Mod Manager v1. 0. 5. 9 (if using the .fbmod version) (I don't recommend installing the mod with an older version)

  Installation

  • []Frosty version: extract the contents of the archive into your mods directory, open Frosty, import the mod and apply it.

    []DAI MM version: extract the contents of the archive into your mods directory and install with the DAI Mod Manager. More detailed instructions can be found here.

    Compatibility notes & known issues

    • []Won't play nice with mods that affect the default eye textures (unless they only edit the normal map(s), which I haven't touched).
