Misc Hairstyles for Frosty

I got permission from Anto, Newsea(free hairs only), Nightcrawler and SonyaSims to port some of their lovely Sims hairstyles into Dragon Age Inquisition.

I will update this page as I port more hair.

Fbproject can be found from optional files if you are looking into making your own Sims 4 hair mods with original Sims 4 textures. You will need permission from The Sims 4 modder before using their work. I will not give you consent to use my files if you fail to have that.

How to use Frosty hair mods that have custom texture:

They look wrong in CC, normal once you exit. Unless you use Hair H and Hair Texture Slider mod!  This mod has a conflict with my hair mods, and it is supposed to override mine to work properly

? You can have only ONE custom hair texture mod active at the time!

Unless it is a modder that does custom hairs differently to me and replaces another texture

? Why do all my custom hair texture mods replace the same texture?

Because we cannot add new assets, so finding unused, base game bundle texture was a bit of a challenge. If it was something else than basegame bundle, these would need to be bundle mods that would have compatibility issues and stability problems. Now it works everywhere, cause the texture is already loaded with basegame bundle, that is loaded to all areas of the game

? Why do not these mods show up in CC or Black Emporium mirror with correct texture?

It is because these textures do not have morph files, so I had to borrow another textures morphs. This is also why you must ALWAYS choose the custom texture hair mod in CC, before exiting it, to your character if you have installed one. Choose a non custom texture hair, that is using the texture that's morph files I borrowed, and now it makes that hair use The sims 4 textures, this won't work cause both have a very different UV mapping.

This is also why my mod does not make NPC have weird hair, all NPC have their morph files already made so this does not consider them, with the exception of CUSTOM HAWKE, but more about Hawke later

? Why could you not just replace some regular texture that has morph files?

Cause all of them were used by NPC already as beard or hair textures, meaning that if I replaced that texture, it would change the look of all of these NPCS also who use the same texture.

? How do NPCs hair look that use the same hair as Custom hair retexture mod?

Like your player character, I have edited multiple files to make sure that correct texture is loaded for all NPC who use the same hair, despite their morphs.
