- Villains are Dragon Age 2 (item/body re-texture) mod which primarily changes how your game enemies / opposing NPCs look and provides beside above a lot good light and medium armors for your (PC) character.
- So what are you getting in this mod? Simply said - better looking game enemies. Most of (DA2 mainstay) \"villains\" - their outfits have received necessary \"face-lift\" / have been re-made from scratch to look better - read meaner and visually more appealing as worthy / serious in intent foe. Beside obvious n usual game opponents like - Carta Thugs, Deserters, Mercenaries, Raiders, Slavers, (Low n High Town) Kirkwall Thugs - (lower-grade) City Guards and Templars as well as Undead Warriors (corpses) and Abominations (possessed humans) are here - you\'ll have to fight them too.
- As some of these (improved) outfits (Medium and Light armors my \"villains\" wear) are PC usable / can be worn by your character (or by your Companions if you have something like Equipe_Your_Party mod), they represent additional value and one not-so-obvious bonus to your better looking enemies. Or simply - with this mod (in place) your game character will be dressed as good as they are.
- If you are after similar quality Massive (heavy) armors, check my Knight mod and for Robes / other common attires (clothes), check my Commoners mod.
- Ambient Series contains five big mods Kirkwall, Commoners, Elves, Villains and Qunari. All these mods are (visually) lore friendly and stylistically related (matched) to my other mods Anders, Bethany, Carver, Isabella, Fenris, Merrill, Varick, Black Mages Robes, Templars, Knight, Real Champion (etc) and ultimately to my Weapons mega-mod. They are all building-blocks / integral parts of my DA2 better game-play project - major overhaul of primary (in) game-lightness / game-play ambiance. So take note of them all as nothing similar (quality n scope/scale) exist anywhere else! Try them (all) together and you\'ll definitely have brand new - much better looking game and more exciting game-world!
- Last and final addition to Series - Kirkwall is the most important of them all as it is made to be, beside many other (important) things, definite and seamless bridge in-between Bioware in-game (lighter) and mine (darker) item (re) textures.
- To install you need to navigate to your BioWare game folder in Your Documents \\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2 and drag n drop / copy - paste my Dragon Age 2 (mod) file folder there. Allow overwrite. That is all you need to do.
- If you don\'t like this new look, simply delete / remove Dalls_Villains.erf file from Bioware\\Dragon Age 2\\packages\\core\\override\\ and original look will be restored to your game. It goes / applies for Dalls_Dwarf_Commoner_Outfit as well.
- Bugs/conflicts: none known but keep in mind that these re-textures like all other I make are aimed at / will work best with (game) GAMMA Video settings
