Anders Dialogue Edits

This mod makes several optional changes to Anders' dialogue. Parts 1-3 must be installed together, but otherwise you can pick and choose which parts you want to install:

1. Talking about revolution before starting the romance.

During Act 2's Questioning Beliefs, "It's the right thing to do" has been turned into a flirt option. So you can have the whole conversation about rebelling against the Chantry and still start the romance afterward by choosing the "I'll be with you" flirt option at the end of that scene. (The other flirt options are unchanged, so you can still pick one of the old options and go straight to the makeout scene without having the revolution conversation first.)

2. A friendmance-specific comment in act 3.

If you poke Anders when walking around, anytime he would normally say "I think we're better off focusing on the task at hand," he will instead say "Your support has meant the world to me" if he's in a friendmance.

3. Mage Hawke's line if rejecting the Justice mission.

Mage Hawke's reason for rejecting the mission, "I'm not going to risk my standing by messing with some Imperial ritual," has been replaced by the same line non-mage Hawkes use, "I don't want any part of this."

4. Justice's comment about Fenris in Night Terrors.

When Fenris is in the party during Night Terrors and swayed by the pride demon, Justice's comment, "And he is so free to condemn others for the same sin," will now play in Justice's voice instead of Anders'. It will also play after blue and purple responses now, not just red.

5. Merrill and Anders' post-Dissent banter.

The banter about "blood on your hands" will now only play if Ella was killed during Dissent. (Their other post-Dissent banter, with the line "all spirits are dangerous," will still play as normal.)

6. Anders disapproves of slavery.

If Hawke hands Fenris over to Danarius, Anders will no longer comment, and will give you +15 rivalry if his friendship/rivalry isn't already maxed out.

IMPORTANT! There are several versions of this mod available, designed to be compatible with daggerpen/Quenched Steel Modding's highly recommended Anders Romance Dialogue Overhaul, up to date through version 2. 0.

If you are not using the Romance Dialogue Overhaul, please install the Basic Version of this mod.

If you are using the Romance Dialogue Overhaul, please install one of the compatible versions instead: Vanilla Compatible, Spork Compatible, or Spork - Act One Karl Compatible, depending on which version of the Overhaul you have installed. You'll need to overwrite one file when installing, gen00fl_anders.cnv.

To install, unzip the files and place them in your Override folder (likely located at My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age 2/packages
