The New Nowheraki state police. Over-extended, undertrained, yet enthusiastic, these beat cops and their attached tactical unit represent the first line of defense against insurgent threats. Organized from the disparate city and municipal police forces of Nowheraki, the General Security Police represent both a tangible reform effort in bringing law enforcement up to a modern standard, as well as optimism for the future of Nowheraki's stability. You are a newly-appointed state police commissioner, mandated with bringing one of Nowheraki's many municipal police precincts up to the new state standard. Combat the growing insurgency, enforce state authority, keep the peace. ______________________________ This is a police-themed squad heavily inspired by Kresna's Nowheraki Constabulary ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3524581588 ) Consisting of inexperienced city police and their attached tactical unit, the Nowheraki GSP have limited equipment and options, but make up for it in considerable manpower. Early on, their lack of weapons training will make them difficult to use in direct gunfights, so make sure to utilize grenades and getting as many muzzles on target as possible. While not equivalent to their Ranger allies or the Nowheraki Federal SWAT teams, as the GSP gains experience, they can become a professional peacekeeping force. + 4 Commandants - The face of state authority. Commandants are responsible for supervising officers under their watch and navigating developing threats, usually from the safety of a patrol car. Buffs nearby police units while only costing half a Deploy Point, but cannot carry a primary weapon. + 20 Officers - Lightly-armed but enthusiastic, these patrol cops are responsible for everyday foot patrols, investigating disturbances, and first response against insurgent action.
