INTEL PACKET - OPERATION EMERALD MOUNTAIN Date & Time: Apr. 3, 2022 - 0125hrs Target Location: residential complex in the Khyber Pass region of Pakistan Enemy Personnel: 1x HVT (kill/capture orders), 1x squad-sized security element Civilian Presence: 1x hostage Friendly Personnel: 1x four-man team from CIA Special Activities Division - Special Operations Group (SAD-SOG) Excellent work with La'ahad, gents. After we provided him with some "gentle persuasion", we managed to get him to re-organise the deal with his contact in the Taliban. The deal won't take place for another week, but until then, we've got another job that needs your attention. Another relatively heavy hitter in the Taliban has managed to acquire some TOW missiles as well as munitions for it. In addition to that, he's been scavenging a variety of high-end small arms from the gear left behind in Afghanistan, including automatic weapons and grenade launchers. He's currently stockpiling his stash in a compound in the Khyber Pass region of Pakistan, where he's also been known to reside during his trips to Pakistan. Inside that compound are three main buildings; two Quonset huts inside the elongated sections of the compound to the east, and the main house to the east. We believe that there is an office inside the main house; if this is the case, we want you to conduct SSE and gather any intelligence that you can find. In addition to gathering information, we want you to detain the Taliban lieutenant and sabotage any and all munition stockpiles you come across. We don't expect you to remain stealthy during this op, but it would be preferable. We also have reason to believe that there is a hostage somewhere on-site; we're not sure exactly where the hostage is being held, but it's more than likely somewhere in the main house.
