Before he left, however, he told us about a cave complex being used as a weapons storage facility in Badakhshan Province. Apparently, this facility is hidden deep within the Pamir Mountains, and is being used to store large quantities of weapons, as well as detaining various prisoners. Before Hassan was compromised, he travelled to the facility with al-Nasri; according to his intel, there are likely to be around five or so prisoners, three American and two British. Their affiliations are unknown; whether they are military personnel or civilians, you are to rescue them. In addition to rescuing the prisoners, there is another key target in this weapons ring; Hadir Massoud, who is meant to be instrumental in helping OPFOR to secure weapons and supplies. He is to be captured alive; everyone else, however, is expendable. You may not have noticed this at the time, but during the raid on the villa in Kabul, US troops managed to secure the scene after you exfiltrated. They discovered a handful of high-tech weapon prototypes; these prototypes are from the Army's NGSW program.
