Description

Streamlined DLC removes sections from the DLC to improve replayability.

• []Skips the initial Proving Grounds Oracle arena fight and the scripted Henchman fight.[/]

  []Skips Purgatory exploration and re-visits by transitioning directly from level to level, and granting the Platinum that the player would have obtained from exploring the hub at the start of Chasm of Xal'Goroth, near the first shrine.[/]

  []Teleport destination after interacting with the Confessional Stone for the first time at the start of Chasm of Xal'Goroth has been moved to the first encounter in the level.[/]

  []Adds skips for the two main block puzzles in Chasm of Xal'Goroth, via added Meathook points.[/]

  []Adds skips for the church block puzzle in Osseus via added Meathook points.[/]

  []Adds skip to the rotator puzzle in Osseus by opening all the entrances automatically.[/]

  []The Praetor Suit cutscene is automatically triggered after the Marok boss fight [/]

  []Skips the walking section in Uprising by changing the initial player starting position to be in front of the door that triggers the first cutscene.[/]

  []All the Blood Iron available in Purgatory is granted as a single pickup after completing Main Path.[/]

  []Adds skip to the catacombs block puzzle in Osseus (Endgame) by opening the door to the Praetor challenge area automatically and granting all the nearby Blood Iron as a single pickup. A Meathook node was added too to make it faster to leave after completing the Praetor challenge.[/]

  Two addon mod files are also included as optional downloads: one to skip Proving Grounds and make Hell's Core the starting DLC level, and another that restores the initial Oracle arena fight in Proving Grounds. These addon mod files must be loaded alongside the main mod file, they are not meant to be a replacement for it.

  • []First Purgatory visit is still required to acquire the spear, but Hell's Core is immediatelly loaded right after. However, if you have Kaibz mod (version 2026. 8. 3. 8 or above) installed, features from that mod will be used to enable skipping the initial Purgatory visit after Proving Grounds, transitioning directly to Hell's Core instead. [/]

    Installation instructions

    This mod was packed to be installed using Atlan Mod Loader. For instructions on how to install and use the modloader, please check its Github release page: https://github.com/FlavorfulGecko5/EntityAtlan/releases/tag/ModLoader

    Once Atlan Mod Loader is installed, simply use DarkAgesModManager to install the mod or copy and paste the compressed (.zip) mod file into your "Mods" folder of your DOOM: The Dark Ages directory.
