  []The save / load preset function has now been replaced with just 'load zip' and generate mod. This way, if you want to edit a mod you generated earlier, just load it into the customiser.[/]

  Resources Customiser

  This customiser lets you change how many resources you receive throughout the game.

  You can adjust:

  • []Health pickups / lootdrops[/]

    []Armour pickups / lootdrops [/]

    []Ammo pickups / lootdrops[/]

    []Base ammo capacities[/]

  You can also completely remove pickups or lootdrops entirely if you want an even greater challenge!

  The customiser includes several built-in presets:

  • []Balanced[/]

    []Generous[/]

    []Survivor  -  Every pickup counts [/]

    []Glass Cannon  -  Lots of ammo, but can't take many hits[/]

    []Juggernaut  -  Take loads of hits but not much ammo[/]

    []Random[/]

  The best part is that these presets are not fixed.

  Click Randomize to generate a new variation of the selected preset every time. For example, two Balanced presets won't necessarily be identical—they'll both aim for the same style of gameplay while producing different resource distributions.

  If you've created a customised mod you like, you can now load it into the customiser and tweak it some more before generating it again.

  Feedback Welcome

  I've tested the customiser itself to make sure it works correctly.

  The preset balancing, however, still needs plenty of real gameplay testing.

  Please let me know how they feel in the comments. For example:

  • []Is Survivor too punishing?[/]

    []Is Juggernaut too generous?[/]

    []Would Glass Cannon be more fun with slightly more armour?[/]

  Any feedback is appreciated and will help improve future versions.

  Installation instructions

  THIS IS NOT A MOD ZIP FILE! - FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE

  Extract the rar file

  Open the HTML and follow the instructions

  When you are finished choosing your selection, it will create a .zip file for you.

  Move this zip file to your mods folder in your Doom the Dark Ages folder

  Use the Atlan mod loader with the generated zip file
