I just wanted to give this game some more depth in visuals, so its maybe worth playing it again. I added a slightly and adjustable Cinematic DoF effect to the palette, aswell as some other adjustments. I highly recommend using the HD

I made this ReShade preset to give some justice to an old but gold game.
Highly recommend HD Texture Pack by FCH82. Kudos!
Also make sure to play the game in 4K for the best results.
Installation instructions
[]Install ReShade for the Dishonored executable.[/]
[]Select DirectX 9 as the rendering API.[/]
[]Choose and install the desired ReShade preset.[/]
[]Start the game and open the ReShade menu.[/]
[]Go to the Add-ons tab.[/]
[]Make sure Copy depth buffer before clear operations is enabled.[/]
[]Select the correct depth buffer under Generic Depth. (should be right by default)

Sidenote:
There is no Blurmask for the DoF FX, because the UI elements of the game are not very static. That means there tend to be slightly blurry texts from time to time. If youre a new palyer, this could be a small obstacle. But we like obstacles in Dishonored... so. yeah.
