Features

Combat

- Drop takedown: Nonlethal or Vanilla. (jump enemy head > non lethal takedown)

- Sleep arrows: Instant or Vanilla.

Bodies

- Drop while falling: drop a carried body mid fall, or Vanilla.

- Crouch while carrying: On or Vanilla.

- Breath: 60s, 120s or Vanilla. Longer apnea and shorter recovery.

Movement

- Carry pace: Run pace, Sprint pace or Vanilla.

- Carry jump: 50 to 250 percent slider for jumps while carrying a body.

- Normal jump: 50 to 250 percent slider for jumps with free hands.

- Climb speed: Fast 1. 25x, Faster 1. 5x or Vanilla.

Interaction

- Grab reach: 200 to 600 slider for grabbing and using objects from further away. Vanilla is 200.

- Quick skip: shorter hold to skip cutscenes, or Vanilla.

- Interact hold: shorter hold to interact, or Vanilla.

- Lean mode: Toggle or Hold.

- Unequip hold: shorter hold to put the weapon away, or Vanilla.

Visuals

- Depth of field: Off or Vanilla.

- Bloom and lens flare: Off or Vanilla.

- Post-process FX: Off or Vanilla. Also removes film grain, because the engine has no separate grain switch.

Installation

1. You need Dishonored 1 on Steam and Mod Loader 1. 3. 9 or newer.

2. Extract the archive into the main Dishonored folder, or install it with Vortex.

3. Open Pause Menu > MODS > Better QoL.

Uninstallation

Delete Binaries/Win32/Mods/plugins/BetterQoL.dll and the mod is gone.

Saves and other mods are untouched.

Lines starting with Better QoL in settings.dat become inert and can be deleted as well.
