Better Powers - Bend Time

Stop time the way you want it. Better Powers: Bend Time turns the Bend Time power into nine live options in the native pause menu, from a longer or endless freeze to a complete stop at both power levels, cheaper casts and an instant snap in and out of frozen time.

Open Pause Menu > MODS > Better Powers: Bend Time. Every row starts at its vanilla choice, your picks are saved between sessions, and a change takes effect the next time you cast the power. Bend Time I and Bend Time II follow the same choices.

• []Duration: Vanilla, 15, 20, 30 or 60 seconds, or Endless. Endless keeps the power running until you end it yourself.[/]

  []World freeze: Vanilla, Deeper, Much deeper or Full stop. Full stop gives Bend Time I the complete freeze normally reserved for Bend Time II.[/]

  []Player speed: Vanilla, Normal, Fast 1. 5x or Very fast 2x. Vanilla slows you down inside your own Bend Time, Normal gives you your full speed back.[/]

  []Mana cost: Vanilla, Half or Free.[/]

  []Rune cost: Vanilla or Free. This changes the price shown in the powers menu and does not refund runes you already spent.[/]

  • []Freeze ramp: Vanilla, Instant or Smooth. Instant removes the blend in and out of frozen time.[/]

    []Projectile wake-up: Vanilla, 0. 25, 0. 5 or 1 second. Frozen bullets and bolts start moving again this long before the power ends.[/]

    []Effect ramp: Vanilla, Instant or Slow. This controls the fade of the Bend Time screen effect only.[/]

    []Possession bonus: Vanilla, +2, +5 or +10 seconds of Bend Time extension tied to Possession.[/]

    REQUIREMENTS AND INSTALLATION

    • []Use Dishonored 1 on Steam with Dishonored Mod Loader 1. 3. 9 or newer.[/]

      []Extract the archive into the main Dishonored folder, or install it with Vortex.[/]

      []The installed file is Binaries/Win32/Mods/plugins/BetterPowersBendTime.dll. Replace an older copy when updating.[/]

      []Load a save, then open Pause Menu > MODS > Better Powers: Bend Time.[/]

      IMPORTANT DETAILS

      • []Every row defaults to Vanilla, so installing the mod on its own changes nothing until you pick something.[/]

        []Selecting Vanilla again restores the original value exactly. The mod never stacks its own changes on top of each other.[/]

        []A new choice reaches the power on your next cast, not during an active Bend Time.[/]

        []Endless duration stays up until you press the power button again to end it.[/]

        []On an unsupported executable the Compatibility row reports Unsupported build and nothing is changed.[/]

        []No game package, configuration file or save file is replaced.[/]

        UNINSTALLATION

        Close the game and delete Binaries/Win32/Mods/plugins/BetterPowersBendTime.dll. Your saves are unaffected, and the stored menu choices are ignored while the plugin is absent.
