Town and Home Awards

Description

Town and Home Awards adds a complete seasonal judging and rewards system to Dinkum, evaluating both your town and your main player house as part of the same mod.

At the end of every season, your progress is assessed across town development, infrastructure, landscaping, residents, furniture, decorating, house upgrades, and more. On the first morning of the next season, you receive your results through in-game letters, including scores out of 100, 1 to 5 star ratings, and Dink rewards.

The mod gives both town building and home decorating an ongoing seasonal goal, while still letting you build and decorate however you want.

[]Duplicate furniture receives progressively less value, encouraging variety without preventing you from using matching items.[/]

[]Furniture value and variety use curved scoring so modest homes can still earn respectable scores.[/]

[]Furnishing reaches its maximum before the house becomes overcrowded.[/]

[]Furniture added by other mods can count if Dinkum recognizes it as furniture.[/]

[]Furniture and decorative objects placed on other furniture can count separately.[/]

[]Items stored inside chests are ignored.[/]

[]Guest houses, NPC homes, shops, gardens, and other buildings are not included in home judging.[/]

[]Introduction letters explain how the seasonal awards work.[/]

[]Reminder letters arrive during the final week of each season, so you have time to make improvements.[/]

[]Results and rewards arrive on the first morning of the following season.[/]

[]New carpenter dialogue lets you ask about the house judging and your previous result.[/]

[]Each season can only be judged and rewarded once.[/]

[]Reloading, sleeping again, or recovering from a crash cannot reroll results or duplicate rewards.[/]

[]Long award letters support scrolling.[/]

[]Multiplayer support, with seasonal judging and rewards handled through the host.[/]

[]Scoring weights, star thresholds, rewards, and other options can be adjusted through the configuration.[/]

Notes

Town Star Rating evaluates the overall settlement and never looks inside your house.

Home Decorating Awards evaluates the inside of your main player house and does not judge the rest of the town.
