Dinkvesting - Finance Overhaul

Description

Dinkvesting expands Dinkum’s economy with new ways to save, invest, manage income, and participate in local businesses.

Build your bank balance or friendship with Milburn to unlock High Interest Savings, then progress into guaranteed 7-day and 14-day investments with higher returns. The bank also clearly shows the interest you’ve earned, making your savings growth easier to track.

Once you build enough friendship with their shopkeepers, you can invest directly in resident-owned businesses. Purchase up to 30% ownership and receive weekly profits based on the business's performance.

For example, investing 500,000 Dinks into a 7-day investment with a 3% guaranteed return pays back 515,000 Dinks when it matures.

Dinkvesting also improves everyday finances by consolidating Guest House rent payments into a cleaner payout, rather than handling each rental separately, and lets you exchange Permit Points for Dinks through the bank.

You can adjust rent and donations at the donations box. Increasing rent lowers friendship with guest residents, and lowering it raises it passively. Donations affect all moved-in residents the same way.

You can view your full financial summary in my details under the Finances tab; it takes one week of play for the weekly written report to include full data. This has also been added to my Enhanced Bulletin Board mod to show the same data on the bulletin board in a new Financial Portfolio tab.

Overhauled the ADM so you can do most of the same things on there as well.

Included letters and notifications so that withdrawn Dinks from High Interest Savings are clear that it will take until the next financial report letter and not be lost.

Added dividend options so you can decide if you want to reinvest or be paid out from your bank and high interest savings accounts.

The goal is to make banking, saving, property income, relationships, and investing feel like a meaningful part of Dinkum’s progression rather than money simply accumulating in the background.
