Summon Pets 

Summon Pets lets every playable class choose and use up to three summon skills.

The selected skills appear in the normal mouse and quick-skill selector, so no

special charm or equipped item is required.

The mod supports 23 summons from the Amazon, Assassin, Druid, Necromancer,

Sorceress and Warlock skill sets. Each custom skill keeps the matching original

icon, creature, AI, attacks, sounds and animations wherever possible.

Settings

Pet Slot 1, Pet Slot 2 and Pet Slot 3

Each slot can be set to None or any supported summon. If the same pet is

selected more than once, the duplicate is ignored and only one copy of that

skill is added.

Changing a slot and clicking Install Mods removes obsolete Pet skills before

adding the new choices.

 

Pet Level

Pet Level can be set from Level 1 through Level 20. Level 20 is the

default, and one setting applies to all three selected pets.

The selected level controls applicable life, damage, defence, attack rating,

resistances, aura strength, assigned minion skills, duration and mana cost.

Change the setting and click Install Mods again to rebuild the skills.

Each custom skill title and tooltip shows its configured Effective Pet Level.

D2R's separate Current Skill Level line reports the hidden innate-skill rank

plus equipment bonuses. That engine-controlled number may be lower and does not

represent the effective level used by this mod.

General behaviour

- All selected summon skills can be cast in town.

- Skeleton and Skeleton Mage do not require corpses.

- Iron Golem does not require an item.

- Each selected custom skill is limited to one active summon of its type.

- Summons retain their original movement, combat AI and special abilities.

- Most pets follow the character; Hydra is the stationary exception.

- Ravens fly near the character rather than walking, but travel with it.

- The three Druid spirits can coexist.

- The three Warlock demons can coexist.
