Runed Set and Unique Items

This mod allows you to inscribe a weakened version of any runeword onto any unique or set item with the correct base, opening up way to hybrid builds that never existed before. What's most interesting is that the mod encourages you to search for both high-end runes and unique items.

Items enhanced this way receive a unique tag “Runename” fully localized into all official D2R languages. New properties will be added to the existing properties on the item.

✨ How to use mod:

To inscribe a runeword, simply place the item together with the required runes into the Horadric Cube and transmutate.

All runeword combinations supported by this mod are listed in the Changelog section on the mod page. Make sure to check it.

So far, I think the mod is quite capable of compensating the weaknesses of physical and staffs builds.

  []Mod has been fixed and no longer causes crashes. An empty "throw" property is used, making the mod compatible with other mods and game updates. Unfortunately, I had to remove unique names for runewords.

  ⚠️ Knows issues:
  • []Update from versions before 1. 23 will course crash, clear all runed items in mods like Horadric Forging or throw them away

    []When wearing a set, there is a high probability that new properties will be added to the set properties instead of the basic ones. Remove all set items from hero and relogin before transmutation

  • The game engine allows adding only five item modifiers at a time, and one of those slots is already used by the “Runename” marker. More properties is not planned

    Installation: place in D2RMM /mods, load order is no longer matters, uninstall is safe now
