Practical HUD for D2RMM

This is a UI mod that completely revamps the bottom HUD for KB/M (no controller support yet). The default HUD is huge, blocks the screen, and interferes with teleporting.

FEATURES:

• []Shrinks HUD UI elements to take up less screen space.

  []Moves HUD UI elements together in the center for easier viewing

  []Changes Health/Mana Orbs into Bars for better readability.

  []Moves HUD UI elements off the bottom of the screen, allowing you to more maximize teleport distance downward

  []Visual updates to HUD elements - potion belt, health bar, mana bar, monster health bar (more to come in the future)

  []optional Monster Health Bar centered (does not interfere with clicks, purely visual)

  Planned featuers:

  • []Mercenary widget moved to bottom near other UI elements --- also visually redo mercenary HUD elements

    []Icons redone (working on them bit by bit)

  Installation (SHOULD BE SAFE FOR ONLINE):

  1. Install D2RMM

  2. Download the file. Extract into the .../D2RMM/mods/ folder

  3. Run D2RMM

  4. Select the mod

  5. Click INSTALL MODS

  6. Go to D2R on the Bnet launcher, click gear icon near "Play", click "Game Settings", check "Additional command line arguments"

  7. Add "-mod D2RMM -txt" to the text box below, and click "Done" Like this.

  Using this method of installation, You will need to relocate/copy your single player files and config files from "C:\Users\user\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected" to "C:\Users\user\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected\mods\D2RMM". If you skip this step you'll have to redo all your settings and your single player saves won't show up.

  You can also install using D2RMM's "Direct Mode" but it requires you extract all the game files and be kind of smart. You can see my guide on load times which also describes how to load the game using "-direct -txt" mode which is how you would use this mod in direct mode.
