📋 About This Mod
Quality of Life mod that consolidates the cube from a screen-filling window to a small window directly next to the inventory for quick inventory management and transmuting. Supports both the default inventory UI and olegbl's Expanded
Simply moves the Horadric Cube UI over close to the inventory instead of being on the other side of the screen to make cubing easier.
Since Blizzard added ctrl+click to move items between the inventory UI and the cube UI, cubing from inventory is certainly faster. As such, moving the cube UI close to the inventory UI is practical. It means when you're cubing lots of gems you don't have to go across the entire screen with your mouse. Also, it's just kinda nice visually to not have your whole screen taken up unnecessarily.
The only case I can think where this is worse is if you're a stash cube GOD where your player's personal stash is full of gems and you're hucking gems in there fast by hand not ctrl+clicking and then cubing fast-style. For me, that's not my deal. This just feels better to me. I don't know, I could put it wherever... so if you have ideas for what's more convenient, let me know!
NOTE 2: I also integrated Settings Font Fix for D2RMM into this mod as it edits _profilehd.json, which automatically goofs up the fonts in the settings menu making them appear all wonky. You can install Settings Font Fix separately as well, there should be no conflict. I simply didn't want people to install my mod and have to install another mod to fix a common bug, so I added it into mine here. Credits to olegbl who is practically D2R modding Jesus.
Installation (SAFE FOR ONLINE PROBABLY):
1. Install D2RMM
2. Download this mod and extract into the .../D2RMM/mods/ folder
3. Run D2RMM
4. Select the mod
5. Click INSTALL MODS
6. Go to D2R on the Bnet launcher, click gear icon near "Play", click "Game Settings", check "Additional command line arguments"
7. Add "-mod D2RMM -txt" to the text box below, and click "Done" (like this).
Using this method of installation, you will need to relocate/copy your single player files and config files from "C:/Users/user/Saved Games/Diablo II Resurrected" to "C:/Users/user/Saved Games/Diablo II Resurrected/mods/D2RMM". If you skip this step you'll have to redo all your settings and your single player saves won't show up.
You can also install using D2RMM's "Direct Mode" but it requires you extract all the game files and be kind of smart. You can see my guide on load times which also describes how to load the game using "-direct -txt" mode which is how you would use this mod in direct mode. That guide is here: D2R Tips to improve your load times
