No Smite Knockback

This mod completely removes the knockback effect on the Smite skill for the Paladin just as it says on the tin. Simple as that.

• []Is it realistic and immersive for Smite to have knockback? Sure, you're smacking an enemy in the face with a huge shield.

  []But is it fun to constantly chase enemies around the map? Not in my opinion; I don't like chasing enemies around the map with reduced attack speed, reduced damage output, not to mention smacking flying enemies into the abyss in Arcane Sanctuary where you can't reach them. I say, "No more!" No more do you require the exalted Exile runeword for the sake of merely removing knockback.

  INSTALLATION:

  Mod Manager Download:

  1. Open your D2RMM (Mod Manager).

  2. Go to "Settings" at the top left -> Nexus Mods -> "Register as Handler". This will allow D2RMM to handle "Mod manager download" links on the Nexus website.

  3. Go to the "Files" tab on this mod page and click "Mod manager download" on the main file.

  4. Enable the "No Smite Knockback" mod in the D2RMM.

  5. Click "Install mods".

  6. Click "Run D2R".

  Manual Download:

  1. Go to the "Files" tab on this mod page and click "Manual download" on the main file. This file should now appear in your "Downloads" folder on your PC.

  2. Extract the "No Smite Knockback" mod to your D2RMM (Mod Manager) "mods" folder. It should look like this:

  3. Launch "D2RMM.exe".

  4. Enable the "No Smite Knockback" mod in the D2RMM.

  5. Click "Install mods".

  6. Click "Run D2R".

  Good job, cupcake. Now Smite away without having to chase down your foes all the time. 😎

  • []This mod is compatible with absolutely anything except for mods which directly modify the Smite skill.

    []It has been made known to me that I don't believe this mod works in other translations of the game. I believe your game must be installed in English for this mod to function.
