INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

You need to download D2RLAN in order to be able to install ESR. There are various additional QoL options that come with D2RLAN out of the box as well, such as:

  []An in-game grail tracker (better than what blizzard offers for their new dlc).[/]

Eastern Sun Resurrected is based on the classic Eastern Sun mod from Diablo 2 LoD. While it keeps the old crafting system, this mod improves it and adds a ton of new content, new skills, new items, new monsters, new uber encounters and much more. Here's just a few of the new features:

• []Class overhauls - Most classes receive new skills, classic skills have been either improved or reworked in order to be more desirable and balanced.[/]

  []New stats - There are a lot of new stats that have been added into the game, most notably being the skill cooldown reduction stat. Other stats include trap limit modifiers and plenty of other special stats that are present on the new mythical uniques.[/]

  []Overhauled difficulty - The campaign is harder. Hell difficulty is significantly harder and require very well rounded builds to finish.[/]

  []New and improved monsters - Most existing monsters receive new skills and have new tricks up their sleeve. The new endgame map system features completely new monsters that are highly dangerous and very rewarding.[/]

  []New ubers - In addition to the overhauled uber tristram bosses, there are 15+ new boss encounters in the new endgame maps, the highest tier bosses being borderline impossible and dropping special rewards.[/]

  []New and improved items - All the classic eastern sun and LoD uniques have been reworked to be more interesting and build fitting. This version also features new unique jewels and quivers as well as an entirely new series of mythical items that cannot be gambled and can only drop from maps. The new mythical uniques are build defining and have special stats/skills you can only find on them.[/]

  []New affixes - The affix pool has been reworked, there are new and improved affixes for all items, some of which can be build defining.[/]

  []New cube recipes and materials - In addition to the existing classic eastern sun materials, new materials have been added with unique effects.[/]

This mod is in continuous development and there is a lot more to come, including more new uniques, ne
