📋 About This Mod

WORK IN PROGRESS. All features are OPTIONAL. 1) NEW Obsidian gem 2) Gem overhaul 3) 1H Variations for every 2H weapon 4) Item class restrictions removed 5) Socketable gloves/boots/belt

Overview

Note: All features are optional

The primary purpose of the mod, as the name suggests, seeks to increase build diversity. I'm not as concerned about typical builds - but giving more flexibility for end-game builds that are anything but typical. I have often found myself coming up with some very interesting builds that were cut short due to such a low number of options when it comes to certain critical mods/stats. So, by increasing weapon choices and re-working gems, I hope you can enjoy a little more flexibility - especially during leveling and early end-game.

I wanted to separate them into different mods with clearer titles/descriptions; however, I couldn't find a way to easily share my Javascript across my multiple mods without external tools. So, for now, it's together in a single mod. There is configuration available to enable/disable different features.

Disclaimers

  • []I'm new to modding and this is the first mod I've ever built. Be nice.[/]

[]I have not done significant testing on all of configuration options for enabling/disabling features. If any of them don't work, just let me know and I'll fix it for you. [/]

[]On top of working overtime and enjoying my family of 4 young kids I really don't have much time. So as I've said elsewhere, please consider this a WORK IN PROGRESS and not a polished product.[/]

Main features

1) Overhaul #1: Gem rework

Gems have been completely reworked. I wanted gems to become more valuable and purposeful for various builds - rather than just an end-game currency for crafters. I have stretched out the life and purpose of gems to be much more focused towards both early game and end-game. The progression from Chipped --> Flawed --> Standard --> Flawless --> Perfect is much more defined and engineered rather than a mere linear increase in stats. I wanted gems to be an exciting drop and have immediate value for the leveling phases. Therefore, various QOL mods have been added to lower gems such as: %Dmg to mana; MAEK, LAEK, %Mana Regen; +Stamina; +StaminaRegen; +LightRadius; %FCR; %IAS; %Block; %FBR.

The gem rework includes, but is not limited to:

[]Progression | Chipped/Flawed/Standard --> Stretched across 3 tiers that similarly mimics the native 5-tier gem system - but with extra mods.[/]

[]Progression | Flawless/Perfect --> Brand new progression built for early end-game[/]

[*]Weapons | All gems now have +elemental dmg/lvl instead of flat +elemental dmg for better scaling  (configurable)[/co
