📋 About This Mod
I know theirs another 2B over vergil mod but its a little busted in places. So I tweaked and upgraded it into my own mod. I've uploaded two optional patches, one for skirtless, unblindfolded normal 2B, and a second for skirted, blindfolded SDT 2B. They seem to work fine if you mix and match but allways install the base mod first.
- Facial animation (courtesy of LonelySutil).
- Reworked body mesh for slightly more accurate movements (bye bye spider fingers).
- Skirtless red eyed devil trigger, abdomin section was built, rigged, and textured by yours truley.
- SDT afterimages work now.
- Nier weapon replacers
- Custom type 3 combat bracers with interiour glow (I know the nier one dosent glow but beowulf had a glow texture i dident want to waste).
- Virtious contract replaces yamato (no sheath so one of the cutscenes is a little funky).
- Virtious treaty replaces Force edge, mirage edge, spectral... what ever the fuck the ghost sword is called in this one.
Known issues
- Any cutscene with Vergils SDT is just fucked, it still works but the head just dosent load right. My workaround for getting the SDT to load right just dosent work for the cutscenes.
- Vergil hair replacers "work" for the base form but modded hair screws up the SDT.
- Photomode is dead, removing the the devil trigger files brings it back.
- SDT and dopple are super shiney (The file that causes that I cant edit).
- Her model bends a bit weird sometimes (Im new to rigging but I've fixed what i can).
- Sometimes textures go a bit weird when you get covered in blood, frozen, and so on. I have a very loose understanding of how those fucking MDF files work.
- Installing the mod as is breaks boss vergil but..
Instructions for unbreaking boss vergil
1. Unpack the mod for the rar file.
2. Then navigate to (Your mod manager/Games/DMC5/mods/2B over Vergil/natives/x64/character/player).
3. Remove these folders.
- pl0310_vergil_majin
- pl0311_vergil_majin_bunshin
- pl0810_vergil_majinpl
4. now navigate to (Your mod manager/Games/DMC5/mods/2B over Vergil/natives/x64/streaming/character/player).
5. remove these folders unless you want fleashy miscolored vergil boss SDT.
