Walking Man - a native music player

Death Stranding has an awesome soundtrack, but it feels underexposed since it mostly plays during scripted moments or in the private room. This mod changes that.

DESCRIPTION

"Walking Man" is an in-world music player mod that lets you enjoy the official soundtrack anytime during gameplay.

This Death Stranding music mod uses the game’s internal audio system, allowing native playback of the soundtrack without interrupting core gameplay or altering the original game design. The music player is seamlessly integrated within the game's UI for an immersive experience.

INSTALLATION

The music player mod is a simple drop-in DLL along with a configuration file (walkingman.ini):

  CONFIGURATION

  Customize the music player via the INI file:

  Open "walkingman.ini" with a text editor and adjust to your liking.

  CONTROLS

  The music player's new controls can be found inside the compass menu. Open the compass (default keys: L1/LB on a controller, G on a keyboard) and you should see some new buttons:

  • []Shuffle/Reset Playlist: Randomizes or resets the playlist. Shuffle starts playback automatically; reset stops it.[/]
