📋 About This Mod
This mod is created for saving disk space, primarily for those who play on small SSDs or HDDs, steam deck or other portable consoles. In general, where every gigabyte is important.
This mod is suitable for both the original game and for the director's cut. In DC, the developers have further inflated the video files that were already huge (13 gb in the original version, 16 gb in DC, ~8 gb in PS4 version)
Compression ratio is mostly 15%.
In some videos the visual flaws is slightly noticeable. I prefer maximum compression than huge bloated files. I warn you in advance, If you prefer max quality, then refuse to download this mod. I made this for myself and decided to share it with those who are not satisfied with a 16 gigabyte movies folder.
Installation:
Backup bink2w64.dll in the root game folder.
Move to somewhere or delete movies.mpk in /Movies folder, we don't need that file anymore.
Unzip Death Stranding Recoded Movies.zip to the root game folder, with overwrite.
