Splintered Embers

Author's Remarks: This is the very first map of the series that started many years ago. Primary motive is to remind the player the basics of gameplay for DEADBOLT along with a twist at the end, so the player can be familiar with the re-spawn mechanic. There is supposed to be a story that goes along with this series, but I'm quite the perfectionist idiot who just never got around to writing it despite having a decent grasp on the plot, themes, and characters for quite a while now. Maybe I'll write it eventually, since I do plan to release the story levels on their own, so it does not interfere with gameplay. However, I'm debating to have the story be very minimalistic on purpose with subtle hints as to what's really going on. And hope Hopoo games will release a full length sequel or prequel to DEADBOLT that has further customization than the first. I know it's dumb to be THAT hopeful, but the story needs far more liberties than what's currently available. Anyhow, enough of my rambling if you're interested in map and need advice please add me on steam and message if ya want.
