Ok, so the creation of this level started pretty slow. One of the things that I knew I wanted in was the punches only bonus challenge, but that made development quite difficult. I needed to make sure that the entire level was possible with only punches to fight, but that it was still a challenge if someone was trying to go in guns blazing. Because of this, I had no idea what to do. The first week was spent doing nothing. Then I started playing Hollow Knight, which is another few days with no progress. Eventually, I had the idea to start with a challenging level, then "trim" it to make sure the punch challenge was possible. The first stage went just as planned, but then I started making Punch Club itself. First it was part of the original stage, then it was split, but I wasn't happy with the layout. Pretty much, there was a lot of scrambling around until I found something I was happy with. There's only one secret in this level, and that is the seemingly inaccessible auto grenade launcher. Have fun.
