Poorly Translated Sound Effects

Overview: 

Almost (see FAQ) every single sound has been poorly translated 100 times, and whatever I was given, I found sound effects to replace them with! Some you may hear more often (like the footstep sound), or others may only be a one off (Channeler chanting). Watch the attached release trailer to hear some clips! 

Recommendations:

It’s recommended you turn down the music (or off), and also turn down (or off) voice (NPCs speaking). There may be some loud moments so be prepared. Also, since almost every sound is replaced, a full playthrough is recommended but ofc never required. Lastly, since cutscenes are also changed mostly, you can watch them to hear more funny stuff too.

Installation and Uninstalling:

Quite simple, just go to your Dark Souls Remastered folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DARK SOULS REMASTERED), rename the original sound folder to sound backup, and move or copy the new sound folder from the download into the folder.

FAQ:

Can I play this online?

I CAN NOT GUARANTEE this mod is safe for online play, so to be safe, PLEASE sign out and set the game to offline mode BEFORE installing.

What sounds are not replaced?

The only sounds that are not changed are music tracks (including those in cutscenes), dialogue, and cut content (King Jar Eel for example). Also, the Artorias cutscene has some weird audio formatting, so four sounds are not replaced there.

Will this mod work with other mods?

Yes, IF the mod does not replace sounds, it should work fine. I CANNOT GUARANTEE it will work if the mod also changes sounds, as I have not tested this.

Does this work on PTDE?

I do not own PTDE, so I am unsure if the folder for sound and the sound files themselves function the same on the original. Maybe it works? Maybe not? I cannot say for certain right now.

Will there be more updates?

I mayyyyy eventually come back and replace the music tracks with some Kevin Macleod or other free to use songs, but no promises. I will not replace dialogue, however, Mechapope1 has created an awesome mod (the text version of Poorly Translated Dark Souls) that replaces the dialogue with poor translations, as well as the sound files for them. Ofc, if any problems arise upon player testing, I will see what I can do to fix!
