Tired of blind comparison of ungraded, unupgraded, normal and unique weapons? Or tired to guess exact meaning of obscure item descriptions? This mod puts all this information into item descriptions.
Overinformative Item Descriptions
What this mod does
The mod extracts exact item parameters from the game files and puts them into item descriptions, including:
- scalability as damage bonus % (instead of E-S)
- unupgraded weapon and armor stats
- maxed weapon and armor base stats
- full damage number when maxed - taking into account upgrades and scalability
- poise damage (i.e. how fast you can stagger enemy)
- stamina damage (i.e. how fast you can break enemy shield)
- bonus damages vs demons, occult and divine enemies.
- souls you get for consuming items or selling them to Frampt.
- stamina recovery penalties when wearing armor.
- extract numbers for special effects given by items (stamina recovery/hp recovery/damage boost/resistance boost/etc)
A few new things you may learn with this mod:
- Some boss souls are more proficient to sell to Frampt than to use from your inventory.
- Scalability improves with upgrading weapons, but this is true only for some weapons.
- Physical damage doesn't scale with int and fth; magic damage doesn't scale with str and dex; fire and lightning damage doesn't scale with any of those.
- BKH is not the best halberd in the game.
- Dragon weapons boost your defenses.
Abbreviations:
Ph - physical damage
Ma - magic damage
Fi - fire damage
Li - lightning damage
Po - poise damage (twohanded damage in brackets)
St - stamina damage (damage to shields)
Str - strength
Dex - dexterity
Int - intelligence
Fth - faith
Lvl0 - unupgraded and uninfused
LvlM - upgraded to maximum possible level
Max dmg. - damage of fully upgraded weapon with 99 str, 99 dex, 99 int, 99 fth and 0 humanity.
Side notes:
- LvlM stats are shown for current upgrade path, i.e. if you have normal weapon LvlM will show normal+15 stats. If you have unique weapon (BKH, for example) LvlM will show unique+5 stats, if you have a normal weapon with divine infusion LvlM is divine+10, if you have a normal weapon with occult infusion LvlM is occult+5. LvlM doesn't depend on your upgrade level, only on weapon type and infusion.
- Scalability % shows the maximum bonus damage which you can obtain when you max corresponding stat. I.e. your damage bonus is proportional to this number and to the base weapon damage. Read more on wiki.
- Which exact enemies are demons/occult/divine can be found on wiki: demons, occult, divine. Please don't confuse occult weapons and occult enemies, occult weapons have vsDivine damage bonus and divine weapons have vsOccult damage bonus.
- Max dmg. doesn't take into account humanity bonus on chaos weapons.
- The word "damage" ab
