Dark Souls 3 SFX Replacement

This mod replaces many of the Dark Souls sound effects with their Dark Souls III counterpart, most notably the parry/riposte sound, rolling/walking with armor, firebombs, and some menu sounds. Not every sound was changed, mostly only sounds with a noticable change between DS1 and DS3.

This mod SHOULD work for both Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition and Dark Souls Remastered, however I only really tried it with the remaster.

How to install:

1.) Place into your Dark Souls install directory, probably at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DARK SOULS REMASTERED\sound\frpg_main.fsb

I included the original frpg_main.fsb in case you want to revert your sounds back to the original Dark Souls style. If you had previous sound mods installed, you may want to back up your old frpg_main.fsb before testing out this mod.

I did very little testing with this sound mod, and some sounds may be louder than normal due to how the sound was extracted from Dark Souls III. I may have injected a sound into the wrong sound, and if I did, please let me know so I may adjust it.

All menu sounds were reverted to DS1, since it simply fits better. Trust me. The DS3's CURSOR_OK.wav sound is absolutely obnoxious.

The kill_success.wav sound (Y'know, the parry sound) was changed to the proper DS3 sound, however I could not find a good quality rip. If you find one, let me know, and I'll fix it. For the time being, I used my own rip with a bit of editing to make it fit properly.
