This mod improves the translation of the game, for French and English texts.

In English, some texts have been uncut. For instance :

Black Iron Grtshld -> Black Iron Greatshield (see picture 1)

ReqParam -> Required Parameters (see picture 2)

Easy install : Method n°1

- Locate the DATA folder of the game, and within it :

- Backup files "dvdbnd3.bdt" and "dvdbnd3.bhd5"

- Replace them by the modded files

To uninstall, just restore the original dvdbnd3 files.

Easy install : Method n°2

Get the mod DSDAD : https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/1355/?

Drag/drop .dcx files from the folder \DCX files - for DSDAD\\ of the mod into DSDAD

(or copy the files into the folder \dadmod\ created by DSDAD, in the DATA directory of Dark Souls)

This way you can easily mix this mod with another, or several, which don't use the same .dcx files.

Advanced install

Why ? To mix this mod with another one involving dvdbnd3 archives.

- With Wulf's BND Rebuilder (download link on Wulf's website), extract the files :

1. dvdbnd3.

2. .msgbnd.dcx

- Explore the \.msgbnd.extract\ folders to locate the FMG files

- Replace original FMG files by the modded ones

If you use the most recent versions of BND Rebuilder, you'll get FMG filenames written with japanese characters.

So the files included in the folder \FMG and CSV files - ADVANCED INSTALL\ of the mod should become unusable.

If you want to use them, gather the data from the CSV file, then insert them into a file with the proper (japanese-written) filename.

- With the Rebuilder, rebuild the files (backwards) :

- Copy the rebuilt dvdbnd3.bdt and dvdbnd3.bhd5 files to the DATA folder
