Description

Each new class replaces totally or partially an original starting class :

Warrior -> Sun warrior

Knight -> Eccentric

Wanderer -> Soldier

Thief -> Crystallized ()

Bandit -> Assassin

Hunter -> Noble

Sorcerer -> Higher sorcerer

Pyromancer -> Chaos disciple

Clerc -> Devout

Deprived -> (sl1) Deprived

I tried to create lore-friendly and (quite) balanced classes. I hope you'll find this interesting.

For the last classes I admit I wasn't very inspired.

Notes

These new classes names and their descriptions only work in English or French languages.

This mod doesn't affect the stats in already existing savegames, they are the same before/after installation.

() The crystal straight sword attributes have been modified :

Durability : 60 -> 30

Damages : 150 -> 100

This is to prevent the Crystallized class to be over-powered.

/!\ These are the only changes that will affect your already existing savegames /!\

Known issue

When you start a new game with this mod and then continue it in vanilla version

(with the original dvdbnd3 files) you may have some "free" soul levels (requirement : 0 souls)

Installation

1) Go into the folder ...\Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition\DATA\

2) Backup the files "dvdbnd3.bdt" & "dvdbnd3.bhd5"

3) Replace them by the modded files

4) Start a new game

Restore the original dvdbnd3 files to uninstall.

Get the mod DSDAD : https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/1355/?

1) Drag/drop .dcx files from the folder \DCX files - for DSDAD\ onto the Mod Setup section of DSDAD :

- GameParam.parambnd.dcx

- \\menu.msgbnd.dcx

1) Copy both files into the folder \dadmod\ created by DSDAD, in the DATA directory of Dark Souls

2) Launch the game through DSDAD
