What this mod does

The mod adds various effects to armor sets. Many of them will alter the way you play the game and worth a separate play-through. Positive effects are balanced with negative to keep soul challenge at the level.

• []Additional effects for all 58 armor sets.

  []You can obtain and wear armor sets of Petrus of Thorolund  and Rickert of Vinheim, which are not available normally.

  Known limitations:

  • []The mod is English only.

    []With specific armor sets, you can rarely experience problems with movement, changing fps from 60 to 30 (or backwards) fixes them.

    Installation instructions

    0.  It's recommended to start from a fresh DS installation with DSFix, and to play at 60 fps.

    A) UDSFM (video)

    • []Download my files and unpack them.

      []Create a back up of your Dark Souls folder.

      []Unpack your Dark Souls using UnpackDSForModding mod.

      []Copy all content of my DATA folder to DS DATA folder and replace files when prompted.

      []Launch Dark Souls via Steam.

    P. S. If your language is not English you need either to switch it to English or to copy content of msg/ENGLISH folder to msg/ to be able to read about new effects.

    B) DSDAD (video)

    still will be playable, but using option A) (UnpackDSForModding) instead is recommended)]

    • []Download my files and unpack them.

      []Download Drag and Drop mod Manager (DSDAD), launch it and tell it where your DS1 folder is.

      []Go to my DATA folder and  list all files at once by entering "" in explorer search field. Drag and drop all found files to DSDAD window. (Alternatively, just open all subfolders and drag all files to DSDAD, one by one). Do not drag subfolders themselves!

      []Launch Dark Souls via DSDAD by pressing the button at the bottom right.

      Compatibility

      1. It should be fully compatible with mods, which do only visual changes, like DSFix, Anor Londo Remastered, Disable Enemy Health Bars or with another mod of mine:  Pure Darkness ;)

      2. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with most of the mods with gameplay changes, like Prepare to die again and NG+ Infinite, since they change game param and event files.

      If you still wanna try it, just know that the core of the mod is in the following files: "GameParam.parambnd", "common.emevd", they can't be replaced or you'll screw your play-throu
