Custom Knight hero

Hey guys, still alive.

Mod kinda broke after updates, plugin doesn't work either. Hopefully with official mod tools i'll resurrect our metal boy.

Please note the mod is under development. Please report any bugs, crashes or suggested changes.

Adds a new hero that you will be able to select in Crossroads and keep for an entire run.

Basic English and Polish localization is there, but no barks yet!

As for now, I disabled his stress and relations, will probably implement it in the future.

Stats as for version 0. 8 alpha

Bleed Res - 40

Blight Res - 20

Burn Res - 20

Stun Res - 50

Move Res - 40

Debuff Res - 30

Disease Res - 60

Death Res - 65

Combat start - add 2 block, add 1 benediction

(Benediction) - Upon reaching Death's Door for the first time:

add 1 speed,

add 1 strength

add 1 block plus

add 6 regeneration (3 turns)

remove benediction

Subsequent Death Doors:

add 2 weakness

(like all heroes)

Biting blade

Rank 1,2 - Target 1,2

Dmg 5-8, Crit 10%

Target: Bleed 4

Flashing blade (cooldown 1) (ignores taunt)

Rank - 1,2 - Target 1 + 2

Dmg 4-7, Crit 5%

Target: Weakness

Have at you (cooldown 2)

Rank - 1,2,3,4 - Target 1,2

Dmg 6-8, Crit 5%

Self: forward 3

Target: Stun, back 1

En garde (cooldown 1)

Rank 1,2,3,4

Self: Remove blind, 2 block, 3 riposte

Dmg 4-5, Crit 5%

Installation:

1. Download and install Binarsun's Plugin

2. Copy over my mod into DD2/mods

3. Start a new run and Knight should appear as a selectable hero

4. Note - Before you panic - Binarsun's plugin offers many possibilities and changes, please make sure to read through them and disable the ones you don't like/need

1. Hero appears and somewhat works

2. His sounds are finally working

3. Placeholder portrait

4. Combat portrait succesfully reversed to match heroes direction

5. Custom skill icons

1. Find out how to implement custom skill icons Done

2. Do proper balance

3. Do full localization

MAYBE SOME DAY

1. Relations and hero shrines

2. More skills

3. Find a way to reduce his model size without making it crashing for ~50% people.

I'd like to thank Binarsun for his plugin and help that I received while working on first second ever custom hero class for Darkest Dungeon 2.

Without his help I probably wouldn't have done 50% of what I intended.
