Permanent Bounty Hunter

2023/13/12 - Updated for Blinding Blade (BASE!!)

Full disclaimer: I have not bought the DLC, so I'm unaware of any big changes, but the base logic that should make the BH permanent I would not expect to change from the base (especially now that it's even simpler than the asset modification path). Please let me know in the comments if anything looks weird or doesn't work.

BIG CHANGE (Somewhat)

A bit of asset tinkering after learning a few tools has made the incorporation of the Bounty Hunter to the Crossroads a bit easier and more mantainable, as well as being Crossplatform (No more EGS/Steam mod separation). Bugs should be less common, as the BH is now more like a normal hero than with my previous workaround. Still, let me know if any bugs or problems present themselves.

RE-mastered BH

Take a look at the optional files if you want to give a test drive of an unmastered Bounty Hunter with a completely new set of Mastered Skills to unlock. They are the first version so they might be rough, OP, buggy or all 3, but hopefully we can go step by step in fixing any issues that arise. Please take a look at his skills here!

Description!

Tired of only having the Bounty Hunter for one region? This mod will allow you to keep him indefinitely (until he dies, of course!)

Extract the zip in your "Darkest Dungeon II_Data" folder and place the files in their respective folder ("Managed" and "StreamingAssets") respectively

NEW UPDATE: The Bounty Hunter is now selectable at the Crossroads! Note: The Poster will NO LONGER APPEAR in the middle of a run, locking you out of the BH if you don't pick him at the start. He MAY show up to replace a Dead Hero, however (untested, feel free to report it happening to you! CConfirmed by some users!)

And as I have seen mentioned before, make sure to ALWAYS BACK UP your original IronCrown.dll file before installing. No more IronCrown modification, but please do the same with the hero_bounty_hunter_assets_all_289949b91a2115d87c3c96c72992ae9c.bundle  Even simpler, only csv modifications, woohoo!
