The Sunlight Warriors are an order of wandering undead knights, seeking for a prophecy long forgotten. Many lifes ago they swore a covenant of protecting the meek in the name of the god of sunlight. Their prowess comes from faith, allowing them to call upon the power of the divine. Under their shining armour they bear a secret. Branded by a curse black as the night, they are unable to die by, the price of slowly slippering into madness. Only the Faith in the magnificent sun and the self oblieged virtue of protecting others, keep them away from hollowing inside and becoming a mindless undead husk.

Gameplay

The warrior of sunlight is all about smart gameplay, not about raw stats. His skillset is designed to reward party oriented gameplay. As a mobile tank  he can control the battlefield by distributing stuns in the frontline and taking out already stunned enemys withhis rightful thrust. His dodge roll can reposition him to the backline, from there he can encourage is team by praising the sun or by dealing precise damage with sunlight spears, these are more powerfull the closer the enemy is to the warrior of sunlight. His unique Riposte allows him to stun enemies that atack him

In Camp he focuses on assisting and encouraging his allies or set up a hearth warming bonfire wich acts as haven in the darkest hours.

SKILLS

The rigourous training and the deep faith into his skills allow you to achieve  SKILL MASTERY:

Leveling up a skill to level 5 costs significantly more but unlocks a unique trait to each skill.

Rightful Thrust

- Bonus DMG an CRT% against stunned enemys

SKILL MASTERY: The skill is usabe against rank 3

Parry

Parry incoming Atacks

• Actvates Riposte for 2 rounds, Stuns during Riposte
• More DMG Received during Riposte

SKILL MASTERY: Riposte duration increased by 1 round

Sunlight Spear

Hurl a Spear of pure Light, wich is stroger the closer the target is.

Armor Piercing

+50% DMG vs Rank 1, +30% DMg vs Rank 2, +10% DMG vs Rank 3

SKILL MASTERY: Ignores Steallth

Way of White

Jump to the front to protect your teammates

• Guard target and clear Stuns
• Mark Self, Chance to get 1 Block

SKILL MASTERY: Chance for an extra Block

Dodge Roll

Perform a quick roll to the back

• Consume Mark to heal Stress
• Increase defensive stats

SKILL MASTERY: Dodge Roll costs no action

Praise the Sun

Call upon the divine Powers of the Sun

Increase Light, Clear Horror

Buff Party: -5% Stress per 20 Torchlight (1 combat)

SKILL MASTERY:  50% Less Horror Received (1 combat)

Emmit Force

- 2 uses per combat

Knock down the enemy Frontline

Stun and Push enemys, chance to stun self

SKILL MASTERY: 3 Uses per Combat

• Buff Virtue Chance in High Light
• Torch lasts longer

CHUG CHUG

Time:1 ; 2 Uses

- Produce an orange Flask, wich heals HP

FRIENDS IN NEED

• Stress Resist Buff when guarded
• Heal Stress when afflicted

JOLLY COOPERATION

Time: 4

Rewards Team for smart positioning

• Team recieves position based bonuses (4 battles)
• Rank 4: DODGE, Rank 3: ACC, Rank 2: DMG, Rank 1: PROT

WELCOME TO THE BONFIRE

Time: 5

Restore your party at the bonfire

• Heal Stress with mortality debuff and  when afflicted
• Prevents Nighttime Ambush
• Chance to produce blue or orange flasks

UNDEAD CURSE

Time: 2

Defies death for the price of going slowly insane

• + Death Blow resist (quest)
• heals on Mortality debuff, removes Mortality debuff
• Virtue debuff , uncurable Horror until End of Quest

TAKE POISE

Time: 3

Reduces the chance of getting interrupted

• Buff Stun & Move Resist
• Prot when Guarding
