About This Mod
A simple mod that removes the fog walls in Firelink Shrine.
Original purpose of the fog gate is to allow fast loading into Firelink Shrine for quick levelups without having to load the rest of the map as that'd take way longer on standard hardware back when the game first came out, especially on consoles.
This mod simply deletes the fog wall objects (which I did through DSMapStudio), and changes nothing about how the game loads the area. I tested it on my laptop (Which has an SSD) by warping into Firelink Shrine from other areas and running straight towards the door outside and found everything already loaded anyway but it might vary if you have an HDD for instance.
Installation:
1. Use UXM to unpack game files.
2. Drop the zip contents into your (DARK SOULS III/Game/) folder
3. Use UXM to patch game files.
