📋 About This Mod
This mod adds 10 levels of rarity to every pieces of armor, every weapon, and most rings. Armor and weapons now have special effects tied to them, allowing your character to grow stronger and stronger as you progress.
To install:
- Download ModEngine2 and place the folder somewhere that is not your game directory (e.g., save it to your desktop).
- Add the contents of the mod to the "Mod" folder in the ModEngine2 folder.
- Select the "launchmod_darksouls3" batch file and enjoy!
If you are having troubles with this method, you may need to extract your game files using UXM first.
To account for better armor and weapons, bosses and enemies are stronger as well. Be sure to explore and loot as much as you can lest you find yourself falling behind.

Rarities are as follows:
- Very Uncommon
- Very Rare
- Ultra Rare
- Legendary
Each rarity is roughly 5-10% stronger depending on what weapon or armor piece you encounter.
All weapons are now able to be buffed!
Enemies will now drop loot relative to their location in-game; early game weapons and armor are capped at Ultra Rare, mid-game is capped at Legendary / Mythical, and end-game you can find Godlike gear! (Note: the Painted World is considered Mid-Game for randomized loot drops).
All forms of titanite and infusion gems should be replaced with souls, but there still may be a few remnants here and there if I missed some. Weapons cannot be upgraded, so feel free to sell them.
There may be occasional items that you cannot pick up, but I cannot pinpoint exactly what IDs are causing this issue. Seeing as it is maybe 1 out of maybe 100-200 items, I don't think it's a big deal.
Each class has special effects innate to that class, and each class also starts with a ring. These effects are amplified in NG+ and beyond.
This mod introduces Diablo-style randomized loot to Dark Souls 3, adding rarity tiers and special effects to weapons, armor, and rings. It's for players seeking a fresh, loot-driven twist on the classic Souls formula, with 64 endorsements and 1,862 downloads.
