📋 About This Mod
Completely overhauls Darkdrift.
- Removed the sword's physical blade. Those familiar with DS2 might remember the Ivory Straight Sword: Darkdrift's blade now functions the same way, and spawns a roaring blade of blackflame when swung.
- Adjusted the hitboxes to match the length of its blackflame blade.
- Made the weapon unbuffable. I don't think I need to explain why you can't slap a fire buff onto a weapon without a blade.
- Overhauled the weapon's stats. Now requires 20DEX, 15INT, 15FTH, and is primarily an INT/FTH-scaling Dark weapon with low physical damage.
- Extended the weapon art into a longer charge forward (without changing the stance/pose taken), and gave it two smaller damage ticks before the last shield-piercing tick. The final hit now also releases the VFX effect of Black Flame (this is purely visual, for style).
For all those asking, THIS MOD IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH ANY THAT MODIFY THE SAME FILES. Unless those mod owners would like this mod added to theirs, it's not happening. I do plan on possibly expanding this mod with more ''Reborn'' weapons in the future, but I am not taking any requests for what weapons those will be.
Installation:
1. Install Mod Engine if you haven't yet.
2. If loadLooseParams=0 in your modengine.ini, set it to 1. Without this, the weapon's custom VFX and stat changes won't apply.
3. Drop the contents in your mod folder.
4. Smite all who dare oppose your rule with the wrathful flame of Londor.
