Better Hair Colors

Update -There is a port of this mod compatible with Mod Engine made by u/Arktomys. It is way more convenient than using iGP11, so I encourage you to use that one instead.

Are you tired of those dull greyish hair colors?

Do you want your characther to have a truly white mane?

Is your beard not pink enough?

Then, this is for you! Through complex game code hacking, I've managed to add a light source inside the characters' heads that will make their follicles shine like a Chistmas tree.

... Nevermind, I just brightened the base color of the hair textures, including beards and eyebrows - that's all. This way, you will have a wider color palette and the hair will look more intense in-game.

Important notes:

• []It will probably change the hair color of all your present characters. Make sure you can modify your appearance at Rosaria's if you want to keep his/her original look.

  []It will also apply to other player's phantoms, so their hair might not look exactly the same as they created it in your screen (and vice versa).

  []Keep in mind that the hair color may look different depending on the area and the light sources- e.g. in Rosaria's chambers the color filter is really dark, whereas in Road of Sacrifices the hair looks a lot brighter and more similar to the creation screen one.

  Compatibility:

  • []Compatible with the awesome Dark Souls Beard Fix - No more patchy beards by mauskal. You need to download the textures under "Optional Files" and overwrite when asked (needs the main mod first).

    []Incompatible with anything else that modifies the hair and beard textures (let me know if you find one).

    Installation:

    IGP11 by S17L required. Just extract the textures and place them in your override folder.
