When switching to the weapon held in the left hand, it appears on the left side of the screen.
While this mod doesn't do anything mechanics-wise, it gives some sort of illusion that you're actually using the weapon in your left hand. Therefore, if you're for the vanilla experience but want to get a bit more graphical feedback, this is the mod for you.
This is a known issue, and it's caused by how DFU manage the FP weapon images. It will be resolved in DFU 0. 15. 0.
