Android Map Helper (0.9 beta)

Since the vanilla Daggerfall map was never intended to be used on a touch screen device, trying to navigate it as-is can be a massive pain for Android users. You either have to know where you're going and use the 'Find' function or else fatfinger helplessly around for minutes at a time hoping to get lucky. Well no longer - I have created a basic crosshair selector tool to enable precise movement and navigation of the map icons while using a touch screen.

Instructions:

- Use the larger widget on the right as an analog to control the direction and speed of the crosshairs

- Use the smaller widget on the right to select the highlighted location

- Use the widget on the left to zoom in and out

Important Notes:

- When input a fast travel destination, sometimes the region field will display incorrectly. You can safely ignore this - you will travel to the region you're looking at.

- Regions with a high location density might be slow to navigate on your device

Is it compatible with Basic Roads?

Somewhat, just make sure you select the "Basic Roads Compatibility" option in the mod settings menu, as that option is disabled by default. But unfortunately you will not have access to the zoom feature as using it breaks the mapTable for some reason. You will have to zoom in the old fashioned way using two fingers. Also, sometimes if you use the world map for extended periods, the panel will go black. You can simply save and reload to fix this.
