Zero Two - Main Menu Background Replacer (PHANTOM LIBERTY VER)

!!!SHOULD WORK FOR BOTH VANILLA AND PL BUT U DEF NEED PL!!!

hey guys. i am a new modder. not out of choice, but by neccessity.

i used to love this god damn mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/2520?tab=files. its so cool. zero two in a cool cockpit, the main theme sung by amalee. the glitch effect. LOVED IT

but sadly in 2023 CDPR dropped an amazing expansion, PHANTOM LIBERTY

With it came all new main menu loading screens. About 5-6 new ones that are used once you reach specific parts of the story. These new main menu screens completely MURDERED MY BELOVED 02!!!

For a time, a workaround worked. Downloading a bunch of shit that reduces bloat on the main menu, IDK how it worked but it did. for years

UNTIL RECENTLY IDK WHY

so, let me tell you. as a recent college grad who is not getting hired by anyone, with sheer will, time and love of both this game and the glorious zero two menu mod made by Natsji in 2021, i decided to take matters into my own hands

i honestly dont even know what the hell i did and let me tell u CHATGPT WAS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. and i couldnt find a single god damn guide to save my life and that website all about modding with wolvenkit did not tell me what to do. so i friggin just went through every god damn folder in that cursed application that is wolvenkit, and  i found where the new loading screens were, i imported the files from the original zero two main menu mod into where the PL loading screens are and then i just renamed these zero two files to overwrite the PL ones AND IT FCKING WORKED! AFTER HOURS OF NOT EVEN KNOWING WHAT I WAS LOOKING AT!

but I only did this for one of the main menu screens, though i found out it worked for TWO??

so thats what i mean when i say IDK if it works all the way. I know for sure it does for the first two PL main menu screens. SO PLZ TRY IT AND TELL ME IF IT WORKS ALL THE WAY I WILL BE PLAYTESTING IT TOO

i did two clean reinstalls to make sure it wasnt any funny business with any other of my mods, and it confirms still works for the first two. so, please. if you love that original mod or zero two or if u can feel my obvious passion for modding this stupid fcking game please test it out on your PL saves and let me know if it works! ☆:.｡.o(≧▽≦)o.｡.:☆
