Virtual Atelier Addon - Item Tag Registry

Overview

Item Tag Registry is a quality-of-life framework that solves two major pain points with large modded clothing collections in Virtual Atelier:

1. Gender Filtering — Items tagged as male or female are automatically hidden when browsing as the opposite gender. No more scrolling past hundreds of items your V can't even wear; or worse, clicking on the wrong item and crashing. Stores with zero visible items are hidden entirely from the store screen (after visiting the store at least once).

2. Variant Consolidation — Color variants of the same item are automatically collapsed into a single entry. Instead of scrolling through 21 separate "Edgerunner Jacket" entries in different colors, you see one entry. Click it to open a sub-grid showing all available colors.

The mod works out of the box with zero configuration, but due to inconsistent naming conventions across the thousands of different clothing mods available, users will absolutely have to manually tag/group items until this framework is more widely adopted.
