Vehicle Trunk Interaction Fix fixes vehicle trunk prompts disappearing or becoming unresponsive after closing a stash or supported crafting menu.

The mod refreshes the current vehicle interaction automatically, restoring the prompts and their input without forcing you to look completely away from the vehicle and back again.

01 // THE PROBLEM

After closing a fullscreen menu opened from a vehicle trunk, Cyberpunk 2077 can fail to refresh the current interaction target correctly.

The trunk prompts may disappear entirely or remain visible while no longer accepting input. Moving the crosshair around the same vehicle does not recover them; you have to look completely away from the vehicle and target it again.

02 // THE FIX

When the menu closes, the mod briefly releases the current vehicle target and refreshes only its trunk interaction layer. The game then rebuilds the native prompts and input bindings as if you had naturally looked away and back.

  03 // COMPATIBILITY

  The mod uses small redscript wrappers and does not replace complete game scripts. It leaves the game's original conditions for showing the trunk action intact, so mods that intentionally change when vehicle stash access is available should remain compatible.
