Third Person Vehicle Drone Camera Overlay

When driving a vehicle in third person, this (very simple, small) mod applies the overlay seen when looking through the rear view camera in order to imply that the footage is being streamed from a drone directly to your Kiroshi optics.

New - 1. 0. 1 - When switching camera perspectives, a quick camera "glitch" VFX is also displayed to further reinforce the feeling of switching to/from a drone camera. If you don't care for this effect, use the "No FX" version of the mod for a more seamless transition between perspectives.

IMMERSION INTENSIFIES!

Like when using the rear view camera, the overlay displays the manufacturer of the vehicle in the lower left corner.

The overlay automatically disappears when exiting the vehicle, when driving in first person, or when in Cinematic Camera.

This mod has no settings. It works as described.

The third person vehicle camera has always slightly bugged me, as it's one of the only times the camera switches to a third-person perspective in a rather game-y way. This helps provide an in-world justification for how you're able to do this.

Settings -> Interface -> Crosshair must be Enabled in order for this overlay to appear. (The game also requires this to see this overlay when looking through the rear-view camera. I cannot change this behavior to make these settings independent.)

Install as normal using a Mod Manager or by placing the contents of the .zip archive into your Cyberpunk 2077 installation

Please check the requirements before installing.

To uninstall, simply remove the files. Because it is a simple and non-persistent RedScript change, your save game will not be impacted.
