The Murkmobile - Tactical Override

This is a mod in a series of fixes I want to add in the Cyberpunk 2077 1. 61 Version "Edgerunners Update". I liked that version much better than the later versions and changes of the crafting/gear/perk functions of the game. So this is a mod for you people who want to have the Murkmobile as intended. Become the Murkman and ride his awesome hero car!

The Murkmobile: Tactical Override

In the dark heart of Night City, the black Rayfield Caliburn found hidden in the desert cave was always meant to be more than just a "free car." It is a deliberate homage to the Batmobile, left behind by the "Murkman"—Night City’s own grim vigilante. While the base game gave us the aesthetic, the Tactical Override mod finally grants the car the legendary capabilities its namesake demands, transforming it from a fragile luxury vehicle into a true Urban Interceptor.

The Weight of Justice: Force and Handling

A hero’s car cannot be bounced off the road by a rogue trash can or a stray curb. The Tactical Override increases the vehicle's chassis and total mass to 12,500 units. This artificial downforce acts like a magnetic grip on the asphalt. By drastically increasing the car's weight, the mod eliminates the "floaty" physics of the standard Caliburn. It now maneuvers with the crushing momentum of a tank while maintaining the speed of a jet, allowing you to ram through NCPD blockades or Arasaka convoys without losing your line.

The Aegis System: Absolute Invulnerability

A vigilante is useless if a single stray bullet or a high-speed collision ends the mission. This mod implements a Hardcoded Invulnerability protocol. By overriding the TweakDB health stats to near-infinite levels and locking the isInvulnerable flag, the Murkmobile becomes an indestructible force of nature. It cannot be detonated, its tires cannot be popped, and its frame will never deform, regardless of the impact velocity.

Tactical Link: The Hero’s Shield

To make this a "Legit Hero Car," the mod establishes a Tactical Link between V and the vehicle. The moment you slide into the cockpit, the car’s onboard AI recognizes the pilot and extends its defense perimeter.

* Bulletproofing: The script grants V God Mode while seated, simulating reinforced, high-grade armored glass and composite plating that makes the cabin a sanctuary against sniper fire and explosions. However, if any panels are loose or lost during combat then V will suffer ballistic damage.

The Intended Experience

The Murkmobile was always intended to be Night City’s "Ghost in the Cave." With this override, the car finally matches its lore. It is no longer a delicate piece of high-fashion machinery; it is a Tactical Utility Vehicle designed for a shadow war.
