The Glen Apartment Overhauled - Netrunner Edition - An AMM Preset

THE GLEN APARTMENT OVERHAULED

A new version of my previous AMM preset that overhauls the Glen Apartment to include an upgraded luxury en suite bathroom, with giant-sized bathtub, working radio, new ornamental detail and more. This version also incorporates a Netrunner chair, servers and more accessories to turn it into a Cyberjockey's paradise.

My approach when designing was to maintain the clean and gender-neutral feel of the original. To that end I have avoided decor items that could be considered traditionally masculine or feminine, instead focusing on keeping the cool brushed chrome and minimalist approach of the base game apartment.

The apartment overhaul should not introduce any issues with NPC pathing or movement unless you have a mod that places them at a point now occupied by an element I added (although this is unlikely and I took great caution to ensure the walkways remained unobstructed.) It has been tested with both Panam and Judy during their romance hangouts with no ill effect.

THE BATHROOM

The overhauled bathroom features a number of new additions, including a water-filled bathtub, allowing V to take a long soak after a hard day of merc work. In addition, a working wall-mounted radio is included to help add some soothing sounds to the ambiance or an up-tempo hype-up for when V is getting ready to hit the town and various small details, including bonsai trees, wall art and lighting to help make for a more relaxing space.

The overhaul is intended as a Role Play/Photo Mode tool. In other words the bath is a non-functional item. The bathtub walls do not feature collision detection, meaning V and their romance partners are free to enter and exit without issue and use the shower as they would in any normal circumstances (including individually or together). This has been tested with both Panam and Judy under the standard I Really Want to Stay at Your House missions and using the I Really Want to Stay at Your House mods by Deceptious (including Romance Hang Outs Enhanced actions from the mod of the same name.) The shower's functionality remains unaffected by this mod, meaning it will still bestow the Refreshed Bonus, improving V's health recovery rate for one hour.

The bath water is displayed by default but can be hidden should you just wish remove it from your photos/play scenarios. Simply select the Saved Props option from the Decor tab and search for Water to locate it. You may then toggle it off using the Hide/Unhide button. 

THE STUDIO

A major addition to the apartment is the presence of a Netrunner's suite. As well as a chair and computer screens, there are also an array of servers to help power V's online adventures. Their positioning also helps disguise V's untidy nature by blocking the pile of boxes and random crap V has stowed under the stairs.
