Surrender.Less lethal cops mod

Have you ever thought it was strange that you hear the NCPD shout lines like

“Police! Come out with your hands up!”

"POLICE! ON THE GROUND!"

"Drop the weapon!"

Or see them arresting/pulling over NPCs on the side of the road, but they never do that to you?

This mod fixes that.

It adds a full surrender system to the game and makes the NCPD less aggressive. Here is how it works.

SURRENDER SYSTEM

You need to bind a CET hotkey. Pressing that hotkey at any time will make your character surrender. You will respawn outside a random police station, lose 5,000 eddies, and all your weapons will be removed.

Be careful using this during missions or in Act 1. Make a backup of your save.

Here is a breakdown of the police behavior changes:

Night City Police Department

Heat 1: 

A small number of cops spawn. They use melee weapons to take you into custody. They do not shoot from vehicles. NCPD will ram your vehicle and try to box you in. They will shoot only if they cannot reach you, for example if you are standing on a car. Roadblocks are removed. Some cops will stay in their patrol cars to block escape points or get ready to chase you if you get into a vehicle.

Heat 2: 

Same as Heat 1, but with more cops.

Heat 3: 

SWAT takes full control of the pursuit. SWAT uses SMGs and light SUVs.

Heat 4: 

Same to heat 3, but more SWAT

SWAT now uses heavy SUVs to block roadblocks and ram you. NCPD will send everyone to chase you

Los Padres County

Heat 1:

A small number of deputies spawn. They use melee weapons to take you into custody. They do not shoot from vehicles. Deputies will ram your vehicle and try to box you in. They won't shoot if they cannot reach you, for example if you are standing on a car. Some deputies will stay in their patrol cars to block escape points or get ready to chase you if you get into a vehicle.
