Raiden - iconic katana with the power of the thunder god

Description

This mod adds a new iconic katana to the game. Base stats (attack speed/damage) are the same as Errata, but it is equipped with a unique mod:

Attacks deal electrical damage with a chance (25% on T5++) to apply shock. When you deal crit damage to an enemy affected by shock, it releases chain lightning that hits up to two nearby enemies, dealing electrical damage and spreading the shock effect to them.

Chain lightning damage can be tweaked to your liking in the .yaml file.

How to get it: The weapon can be bought from a vendor in Downtown starting at level 17, or added directly via console command:

Game. AddToInventory("Items. Preset_Katana_Raiden", 1)

Installation instructions

There are two files with two appearances. Base stats are the same, so choose the one you like more. Do not use both!

The first file is Raiden katana with a Jinchu-maru appearance and does not require any other mod.

The second file is Raiden katana with the Errata appearance, but without the glowing/burning blade effect. This file requires Material and Texture Override to work properly.

You can see both versions in the screenshots. Stats on the screenshot are with the HARDCORE22V2 mod, don't get confused by that.

Unpack your chosen file into your Cyberpunk 2077 main game folder or install via your favorite mod manager.
